What is STAR?

Speech To Audio Relay (STAR) is an application used to convert text to speech into audio files. It’s main purpose is providing distributed speech synthesis over a network for the ability to create tts audio productions without needing to connect all of your computers with various voices together, transfer dialogue lines between them, pull out physical patch cables sometimes etc. If your friend has a voice that you do not and the voice’s license agreement allows for such a thing, you and your friends can communally share your voices with each other to make producing TTS audio skits many times easier than ever before!
